Last Monday, April 13th, we held our highly anticipated “PRINT OF THE YEAR” competition, with David Gibbons our judge for the evening. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to David for his insightful critiques and for taking the time to share his detailed thoughts on every submission.
After a very close contest, David awarded the prestigious Print of the Year title to Stephen Simcox for his stunning image, “Jay.” In the intermediate section Print of the year went to John Richards with his image Emerald Damselfly.
Congratulations to all our winners across the Intermediate and Advanced groups. It was particularly encouraging to see several of our newer members among the top-placed photographers. Finally, thank you to everyone who entered and contributed to such a high-standard of entries.
