Blythe Bridge Camera Club was formed by an enthusiastic band of gentlemen on the
19th October 1950 with the first meetings being held at the Tennis Club Pavilion
Blythe Bridge. The Club later moved to the Smithfield Hotel and then to the
Hairdressing premises of Mr. Cyril Bradshaw on Blythe Bridge Railway Station.
Today the Club meets at the Blythe Bridge and Forsbrook Village Hall on Monday
evenings from early September to early May and we welcome all and everyone who
has an interest in taking photographs.
Whilst we are called a “Camera Club” you do not need to own a Camera to join this
club, as we are first and foremost interested in photography be it with digital
cameras, film cameras or mobile phones.
We have a varied programme of events with competitions, guest speakers and
practical evenings.
Why not come along and see for yourselves what the Blythe Bridge Camera Club
can offer you.
