Visit to Blists Hill Victorian Village

In the summer the intention to have a club visit to either The Black Country Museum or Blists Hill got to the point of plans being made. Practical night – Tabletop photography with Mark Wilbrey

Mark Wilbrey was back at the club to delver another session, this time table top photography. He started off by telling us about some of the things that he finds useful to have around for table top photography: Bulldog clips Laminate flooring fitting wedges Matt spray, clear – dulls down reflective surfaces – spray on, wipe off – probably best used outdoors given the fumes. Club visit to Lehmann’s in Stoke


Following on from their presentation at a club night, a dozen members went along to Lehman’s on Saturday morning. This was to see what goes into checking and calibrating lenses and digital camera sensors. Once we were assembled we first saw the Canon DIA calibration process that matches cameras and lenses together by rewriting data within the equipment.
