The club holds monthly competitions during the season apart from December. Most of these competitions are ‘Open’, do not have a theme, but there are two competitions with a specific theme – Landscape / Seascape and People / Portrait. Some of competitions are for prints and some of these are for Projected Digital Images ( PDI ). Entries are required to meet the club rules with regard to the size and mounting of prints and the size and format of PDI entries. Each member is limited to a maximum of 5 entries per competition. At the end of the season there is a ‘Print of the year’ competition and there are also awards for the people with the most points gained.
In order to enter a club competition the person must be a ‘paid-up’ member of the club. Entries are split into two categories – Intermediate and Advanced. Within reason, new members can decide which category to enter in. Each year the highest points scorer from the Intermediate is automatically moved up to the Advanced category.
Members are issued with a full set of the club rules when they join.

The two pdf file downloads below presumed we would be moving over to the new PAGB standard of 1600 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high. After finding that the projector will not cope with this we will be staying with the 1400 by 1050 pixels size. Therefore when using the details below you need to replace 1600 with 1400 and 1200 with 1050 pixels.
